Leylandii Gold Rider

Leylandii 'Gold Rider' is the most vibrant golden – yellow foliage of the Leyland’s . Slightly slower growing than the Castlewellan but if it’s stunning foliage colour you are after then this one won’t disappoint. Gold Rider forms a dense golden - yellow evergreen hedge that will require less maintenance than the more common leylandii due to its slower growing habit. It can be used effectively as a windbreak and is tolerant of most types of soils and conditions.

Full sun for best colour or / partial shade
Any soil type (except waterlogged).
Growth rate: 40 – 60 cm per annum

Plant at 24in – 36in (60 - 90cm) apart for hedges 3 foot upwards.
