Photinia Red Robin

Photinia Red Robin is a very popular garden plant that makes a fantastic hedge. This vigorous broad-leaved evergreen shrub has brilliant red, glossy young foliage that provides a flush of colour during spring and summer and later matures to green. Clusters of creamy � white flowers are borne in late spring and sometimes followed by red berry-like fruit. If trimmed twice a year (spring and summer) photinia can be kept as a formal hedge or as a dense evergreen hedge up to 2.5m high.

Full sun / partial shade
Fertile well drained soil.
Growth rate: 30 � 45 cm per annum

Plant at 24in � 36in (60 - 90cm) apart for hedges 3 foot upwards.
