Western Red Cedar / Thuja plicaca atrovirens

Thuja plicata is similar to green leylandii but slightly slower growing making it easier to maintain as a hedge. The graceful hanging sprays of glossy bright green leaves produce a pleasant aromatic fragrance when crushed. Can be kept at any height and width if trimmed regularly.

Sun or shade
Any soil type (except waterlogged).
Growth rate: 45 � 60cm per annum
